About the Western Cyber Exchange: The WCX is a consortium of concerned businesses, IT security professionals, and government representatives. Based in Colorado Springs, with partners across other regions, the WCX has been promoting a new, grassroots approach to collective cybersecurity since 2010, under the auspices of The Rocky Mountain Technology Alliance, a nonprofit. The WCX is moving in response to an emerging need in the community. Cybersecurity requires the integration of the public and private sectors, engaged in dynamic information sharing and coordination of defenses in response to constantly changing threat conditions.
