West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games (Beach Volleyball Competition)

The West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games is a multi-sport event and a part of the main AAU Junior Olympic Games. The beach volleyball competition will take place in Hermosa Beach, California. Day 1 of the competition will take place on the SOUTH side of the pier, with Day 2 activities on the NORTH side. Teams must qualify for this event at a sanctioned AAU beach volleyball competition or AAU district championships.
This is the open age group competition (pairs) where teams qualify as a pair. Hotels can be reserved at the HOTELS link located above.
Official Disneyland Opening Ceremonies day is Friday, July 26 (Discounted Disneyland tickets are available at the HOTELS link)
The AAU Junior World Series of Beach Volleyball Open will take place on Thursday, July 25 in Long Beach, CA at the Asics World Series of Beach Volleyball and FIVB Grand Slam event. This open tournament serves as a prelude to the beach volleyball competition at the games and is open to qualified and non-qualified teams.

No on-site registration is available. All qualified teams must pre-register to participate. Qualifying from an event does not guarantee entry, if a team does not register for the event prior to the deadline. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 25 at 12:01 AM.
The Southern Pacific Volleyball Committee is the AAU district organization resonsible for operating and managing AAU Beach Volleyball events in Southern California, the Interscholastic Beach Volleyball League, in addition to all AAU National, Junior Olympic, Pan Pacific and Super Regional Championship events nationwide. The Southern Pacific Association sanctioned the first AAU Beach Volleyball competition in 1957 in Manhattan Beach, CA and the first Junior National Beach Volleyball Championships in 1994 at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, CA.
