WEST CAMPUS LEARNING DAY OVERVIEW AND AGENDA
Learning Day 2016 is a day-long opportunity to learn, serve, celebrate, and inspire one another. We are pleased to share the overview and agenda of this inaugural year of campus-based gathering of employees from West Campus and the District Office. Our morning will begin with continental breakfast and time for networking with friends and colleagues. Following breakfast, Dr. Falecia Williams, Campus President for West Campus, will kickoff the Opening Session with a welcome address which will be followed by a panel discussion of our institutional learning journey and emerging portfolio of programs, degrees, and services to our community. Throughout the morning and afternoon, there will be opportunities to enjoy the expertise and passions of your peers as they facilitate intriguing Learning Sessions. Midday boxed lunches will be provided (with the hopes that you will chew and chat with your colleagues and coworkers). You may also choose to spend all or a portion of your afternoon volunteering at an off-site community service organization or remain on campus for afternoon sessions. We hope you enjoy this return to our roots in this year of reflection.
PLEASE NOTE that Learning Day is considered a regular college work day. If you will be absent, please ensure that you submit a certificate of absence for your supervisor's approval prior to February 12, 2016.
