For children, the art of living playfully comes naturally. They understand from a very early age that PLAY is the perfect vehicle for discovering everything they’ll need to know about the world. At least for now.
Most children need no instruction or directions when placed in front of open-ended toys or brought to a playground, toy store, or children’s museum. They know what to do all by themselves. This is because the act of playing, true unabashed, I don’t care how I look PLAYing, is a gift we receive the day we’re born. The mental, physical, social, and emotional benefits of play make it all the sweeter.
Then we grow up. And get down to work.
What we often forget… or don’t have time to remember, is that play is an essential part of a happy, healthy, and more FUN life. Without it, a vital piece of our well-being sits in the corner waiting to be set free.
At the Well-Played Event you'll tap into your playful spirit and awaken your inner eight-year-old, as we demonstrate ways to invite playfulness back into our everyday in creative and DOABLE ways.
This interactive event featuring products, activities, and experiences that will inspire them to add “purposeful acts of playfulness” back into their busy days of modern motherhood or work/life balance.
Participants will visit various spaces exploring how to “Play with Your Style”, “Play with Your Food”, “Play with Your Pals”, “Play with Your Fitness”, etc.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit KaBOOM!, an organization building playgrounds right here in Chicago to give kids the much-needed opportunity to play in safe and creative spaces.
