The class is suitable for complete beginners, and intermediate welders ages 16 and up.
You must bring your printed GROUPON voucher. We do not require the EVENTBRITE voucher.

We will be discussing, demonstrating and using MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding equipment.
This is a fast paced class that will help you to understand the differences betwen the principal pieces of welding equipment. The class will help you understand:
*How to select welding equipment for a particular job.
*The difference between Gas shielded and Flux core MIG welding.
*The advantages of 220 and 120 volt systems
*How cheap machines differ from expensive ones.
*The difference between Mig and TIG
*The difference between TIG welding on Steel and Aluminum
*Basic stick welding technique and issues.
This class is designed to provide an overview of and comparason between processes. It would be helpful for people who are trying to decide what equipment to purchase and people who wish to understand what the different machines and processes are and what machine or process to use on a given application.
It is an excellent class for people that know nothing about welding and wish to understand how the principal tools of welding are selected and used. The class is not project oriented.
