Social Media Club of Kansas City (SMCKC) and LaunchKC are pleased to welcome the FTTH Council to town for their Community Toolkit Conference.
Our SMCKC members have enthusiastically embraced the opportunity for fiber connections and blazing-fast Internet connections since Google made their big announcement in early 2011. As homes around the area are lit up and the local gigabit community begins to grow in earnest, we're glad to see such interest around the country in the power of connectivity.
Frictionless Internet makes such an enormous difference in how we use digital media to communicate with one another. SMCKC members have played such an important role in spreading that message throughout our local community over the past two years, it seems only fitting to host a proper welcome for attendee's of FTTH Council's Community Toolkit Conference.
The Fiber-to-the-Home Council is an industry advocate for FTTH projects and, for obvious reasons, is pretty excited about what's happening in Kansas City.
Snow & Co. has graciously agreed to host an informal gathering for locals and out-of-towners who may want to mix and mingle, regardless of whether you're attending the conference. And if you'd like to attend, you can still purchase tickets here.
