Event Details

Enjoy the Cooper Center’s traveling Orange County fossil collection. Dig for a fossil and make your own, take home a Cooper Center coloring field guide to ancient Orange County animals, learn to identify rocks, and try out some rocky activities.  Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Little Sycamore Canyon Staging Area/Nix Nature Center (west side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, approximately 3.5 miles south of I-5/405).

Help support Laguna Coast Wilerness Park and Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park by becoming a Friend of the Laguna Canyon Foundation. Your contribution will allow us to continue educational and interpretive programs, support our 300+ volunteer corps, enhance park nature and interpretive centers, restore native habitat, protect natural resources and acquire additional parkland.
