Beginning January 1, 2015, employers are required to comply with the Employer Shared Responsibility requirements in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Small employers will not be subject to the same tax penalties as large employers but must still comply with many of the same requirements. This webinar will provide an overview of these requirements including the Small Business Tax Credit, Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), counting full-time and full-time equivalent employees, IRS control group rules, minimum value and affordability requirements, and strategies for offering health coverage and other benefits. This webinar includes new guidance from the IRS.
