Webinar: Leveraging Social Networks in Direct Services
Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EDT)
Social Networks: Are Foundations Doing All They Can?
In the push for evidence based practice, is it possible that funders and human service providers are overlooking -- or even impeding -- one of the most important forces for people's health and well-being? Katya Fels Smyth of the Full Frame Initiative and Audrey Jordan, an Annie E. Casey Foundation loaned executive at Lawrence Community Works, reflect on the power and potential of leveraging social networks and the implications for foundation practice. Both will draw in part on their experiences with the Boston Rising Fund.
