Webelos Adventure, Into the Wild

The Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge offers Webelos programs for up to 15 Webelos. Additional siblings are welcome. The naturalist badge can be earned in just 2.5 hours. During this hike, learn about birds, flyways, food chains, and the importance of wetlands. Bring your binoculars, or borrow one of ours. For questions, call 510-792-0222 ext. 363.
Directions for registering:
1. Select the date you would like to attend.
2. Enter the number of scouts to take part of the program. No need to enter siblings or parents/guardians.
3. Maximum of 5 scouts may be registered per group. Additional webelos must be registered by another adult.
4. No need to print out the ticket. When you arrive, all you need is the name of the person who registered for the event.
Why don't I see the date I want listed?
If you do not see the date you had hoped for, the program is full.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is plenty of free parking.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. Just provide the name the reservation was under.
Can I update my registration information?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge - Fremont
Containing almost 30,000 acres of estuarine habitat, uplands, open water, mudflats, salt ponds, and salt marshes, including much of southern San Francisco Bay, Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge provides habitat for many wildlife. Its purpose is to protect wildlife habitat for endangered species and migratory birds, and to offer opportunities for nature study. The refuge has two main facilities - a Visitor Contact Station in Fremont, and an Environmental Education Center in Alviso. The Visitor Contact Station is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and the EEC in Alviso is open weekends from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Both are closed on all federal holidays.
Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge is part of the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex and is administered by the US Fish & Wildlife Service.
