The question is as old as media itself: how can content providers provide intelligent recommendations that will make consumers like, watch, listen, become loyal and open their wallets? Can automated media recommendations really replace “the human touch”?

Papish will explain his firm’s advanced recommendations platform and how content providers can customize it to meet the needs of their viewers and listeners. He’ll also show where human intervention is still necessary—and why Rovi employs over 400 human reviewers.
