Kontent Films, with The Redford Center and EcoTrust, are hosting the Portland premier of the documentary film WATERSHED: Exploring a New Water Ethic for the New West.


Narrated by Robert Redford and Directed by award-winning filmmaker, Mark Decena of Kontent Films, WATERSHED exposes both the catastrophic threats to the already taxed Colorado River and inspiring character vignettes of those embracing a new water ethic. The film and subsequent panel discussion is designed to engage, inform, and inspire us all to conserve water and begin restoring the Colorado River so that it once again meets the sea.  


Refreshments will be provided.  Beer provided by Ninkasi.


The film will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Forrest Pound, Associate Producer of the film; Steve Wise, Executive Director of the Sandy River Basin Watershed Council; Michael CampanaProfessor of Hydrology and Water Resources at OSU; Chuck Sams, founder of Indian Country Conservancy; and Cathy Kellon, EcoTrust Water & Watershed’s director.

Doors at 6:30p.  Film at 7p.  Panel discussion at 8p.
