Get your Ticket to Ride
Continue (or start) a great fall tradition! Join fellow snow sports lovers, snow enthusiasts, and adrenaline seekers in the greater DC Metro area for an exclusive screening of this movie that captures breath-taking skiing and panoramic splendor.
Watch the movie on a ginormous 46’x16’ High Definition screen with state-of-the-art 7.1 digital surround sound (largest High Definition screen in the DC region) in an intimate 250-seat movie theater, from a plush, tilt-back seat with unobstructed view, in stadium-style seating. With goodies for every ticket holder and prize drawings at every screening, it is the perfect excuse to get together with your skiing and riding buddies to get stoked for the season ahead. Enjoy the free mini Ski and Snowboard Expo before or after the movie for winter sports, travel, sportswear and equipment exhibits.
Before or after the movie, take in the vibrant nightlife, restaurants, and museums in the bustling Penn Quarter entertainment district. Beverages and snacks are available for purchase at the theater. The theater is conveniently located just steps way from the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metro Station. Or take advantage of no meter fee for on-street parking on Sundays.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
On Sunday, the day of the event, free no-meter parking is available on the street in the Penn Quarter district. Because of the close proximity to the Mall, street parking maybe limited for the 3pm show. This should not be an issue for the 6pm show. There are several commercial parking lots within a few block radius of the theater. The theater is conveniently located just steps from the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metro Station, (Green, Yellow), and short walking distance from the Federal Triangle Metro Station (Blue, Orange) or the Gallery Place Chinatown Metro Station (Green, Red, Yellow).
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No ID required. As for an age limit, the movie is not intended for young children. The movie can be noisy, loud in certain segments. Crying babies and bored, noisy, fidgety children make it uncomfortable for other theater goers. It is also poor theater etiquette. Therefore, no children under 5 allowed. Small children must be accompanied by an adult and have their own seats, tickets.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Email organizer at firstname.lastname@example.org
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
All that is required for entry is the e-Ticket scan code, either in print or on a smartphone. Once the e-Ticket is scanned at check in, the e-Ticket code is automatically marked as used and can not be reused.
Can I update my registration information?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It is recommentded that you bring your printed e-Ticket to be scanned at check-in. This will facilitate the check in process. Manual check in is possible but this will slow down the check in process. If you have a smartphone, you can pull up your e-Ticket for check in. The Eventbrite app is availabe for iPhone and for Androids phones
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Your e-Ticket is your entry pass, so no problem.
