Walking the Beauty Way: A Grandmothers Wisdom Teaching Circle on the Importance of Honoring our Stories
Everyday Medicine Woman® invites you to join a teaching circle with esteemed elders elders Grandmother Flordemayo, Grandmother Mona Polacca and Grandmother Rita Long-Visitor Holy Dance, members of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.
The Grandmothers speak to the importance of claiming your life as a conscious journey - a story that begins 7 generations before this moment and impacts generations to come. As we step outside of linear time with prayer, grace and humor, allow the deep understanding of these wisdom keepers to attune and align your heart. As we come to a place of awakening and remembrance of our inheritance as individuals, as part of a community and a collective earth and universal story, we can become co-creators of a new chapter. We can learn from each other by sharing our journey and become more balanced and loving people who honor where we have been and where we choose to go.
All proceeds and support benefit the 13th Gathering of The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers in South Dakota, hosted by Grandmother Rita Long-Visitor Holy Dance.
Parking Information: As you turn on to N. North Branch Street, go past the school entrance and take a right into the first driveway entrance. Guests may park directly in front of the building. Parking is free.
Please Note: When purchasing multiple tickets, please register each guest separately for each event. Tickets are non-refundable. Please bring your printed ticket (it will be attached to your confirmation email upon purchase) to the door for admission. For questions, email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
