Walk a Mile in Our Shoes

IMPORTANT: Online registration will end Wednesday, August 14 at midnight. You may still register for the 5K race, 1 Mile Fun Run or Kid's Dash the day of the event at Tower Grove Park, Sons of Rest Shelter.
Join the Young Friends Development Board as we raise awareness and money to support St. Patrick Center's clients who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in our community.
Walk a Mile in Our Shoes presented by The Gatesworth, is a family and pet friendly 5K awareness walk/run held at the historic Tower Grove Park, Sons of Rest Shelter. We encourage participants to bring their family including their pets to create awareness about the homeless issues affecting so many people in St. Louis and beyond.
Register by Thursday, August 1st and receive an event t-shirt in your size! If you register after August 1st, you will still receive an event t-shirt but we can't guarantee your size.
Walk-up participants are welcome the day of the awareness walk/run. Prices will increase to $15 ages 8-12 and $30 ages 13 and older and there is not a guarantee you will receive your t-shirt size.

*Participants and volunteers should park on the east end of Tower Grow Park near Sons of Rest Shelter.
5K Walk/Run Information
Timed and competitive race. All walkers follow 5K runners at start of race.
*5K participants will be able to pick up their pre-registration packets and register for Walk a Mile in Our Shoes at Fleet Feet in Des Peres (11731 Manchester Road, Des Peres, MO 63131) on Friday, August 16 from 12pm - 8pm.
You may also pick-up your packet on race day at Sons of Rest Shelter. Participant packets include race bib, route map, schedule of events and event t-shirt.
1 Mile Fun Run Information
Untimed, non-competitive. Same start/finish line as 5K. 1 Mile Fun Run participants will not be timed but it is a great way to create awareness about homelessness, stay acitive and spend time with your family, friends and pets in beautiful Tower Grove Park.
Kid's Dash Information
Untimed, non-competitive. Kid's Dash will be located near Sons of Rest Shelter in the grass and is free for all children!
