My Sister's House, Inc. is hosting the 2nd Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event!

We are recruiting men of ALL ages to march in women's high heeled shoes to protest sexual violence and domestic violence, educate our communities and raise money!

This event will be held:

October 11, 2012 at 6:30 pm

Registration begins at 5:30 pm

Park Circle Community Center

4800 Park Circle, North Charleston

 

We will be having an afterparty at Daniel Island Grill in North Charleston off of E Montague Ave.

They will have a complimentary nacho bar and a free drink ticket for participants!!

ABOUT US
MY SISTER’S HOUSE, INC., is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 that provides services, programs and resources to empower domestic violence victims and their children to live free from abuse. The organization operates an emergency temporary shelter at an undisclosed location for up to 36 women and children who flee abusive situations in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties in South Carolina.



MISSION
My Sister’s House is a nonprofit organization that provides services, programs and resources to empower victims of domestic violence and their children to be free from abuse.


VISION
To end the cycle of domestic violence in the tri-county area and align My Sister’s House, Inc., with SCCADVASA in the effort to end domestic violence in South Carolina.
