Men from across the Midlands will be standing up against sexual assault and abuse, one pair of heels at a time, on Thursday, April 18, 2013. Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands’ Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® begins at 6 p.m. outside the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in the Vista.
Men, women, and children of all ages are invited to participate.
This event also raises awareness about the free, local services STSM provides for survivors of sexual assault and abuse.

Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) is a private, nonprofit, United Way member agency committed to providing free support to survivors of sexual assault and abuse, including 24-hour crisis hotline, hospital accompaniment, court accompaniment, personal advocacy, individual and group counseling and education to the community to identify and prevent sexual violence.
