On October 16th Tech in Motion will be hosting the Orange County company, Vubiq on the UCI campus at the CalIT 2 Atrium and Auditorium. Vubiq will have demonstrations of their latest innovations including their NHL goalcam as well as Mike Pettus, their CEO, talking about what's made them successful and how they did that here in Orange County! It’s sure to be a special treat.

Mike Pettus: President & CTO 
Mike Pettus, President and CTO of Vubiq, has been in the wireless technology sector for over 30 years, including 10 years in 60 GHz millimeter wave product development. Previous to Vubiq, he held VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering positions with Metricom/Ricochet, Convergence Corporation and was a Senior Engineer at Paramount Pictures. He was an active member of the FCC Millimeter Wave Communications Working Group, and was a member of the IEEE 802.11 PHY committee at its inception. Mr. Pettus is a graduate of California State University Fullerton with a degree in Philosophy of Science and Mathematics.
