Volunteer @ WinterJam 2015

We are needing volunteers to work at WinterJam on March 7th in OKC!

Are you: Age 18 or older? Mature? Honest? Dependable? Dedicated? Hard-working? Available for work the entire evening? Willing to NOT see the show? [Being a volunteer is NOT a few things: A backstage pass, a free catered meal, a meet & greet with the artists, or a baby-sitting service for your children.]

Simply put, we couldn't do this without volunteers! We couldn't see hundreds of people come to know Jesus in a personal way each night. We couldn't minister to hundreds of hurting people. We couldn't hear the stories of people's lives being transformed and lives being saved.

Do you want to be a part of something greater than yourself?

Serving as a concert volunteer is one of the greatest thrills. You are furthering God's kingdom and you get to be a part of a mission with eternal rewards. This is a ministry opportunity, and we are so glad that you want to be a part of it!

You should only sign up for one ticket type if you are volunteering at the event. Please sign up for your preference: Merchandise, Doors, or Flyers. The volunteer coordinator may assign you a different position at the event if they need to. This just lets us know your strengths. :)

We need a dedicated group of Street Team members to distribute posters/flyers in the months before the concert. Feel free to sign up for the Street Team and a volunteer position! (Being on the street team does not let you into the event for free. We are not authorized to do that. You will need to volunteer or pay the $10 at the door to get in.)

There are currently 00 backstage positions available at this event. Please contact the event organizer at cycvolunteerministries@gmail.com for more information. These volunteers must be approved by CYC Staff.

VOLUNTEER SURVIVAL GUIDE:

- Wear comfy shoes!

- No fangirling please. Or fanguying either...

- Bring bottled water (depends on venue)

- If you're working at a merch table, brush up on your artists and their music. Because someone will ask you a question...

- Limit the stuff you bring. You don't want to keep up with it all night.

- Be prepared to stay till the last person leaves.

- And most importantly...have fun!!

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

All volunteers must be 18 or older to participate (16+ for Street Team). Age limit might be higher for some positions. A photo ID and your Eventbrite Ticket is required to enter the arena. Because of security reasons, this is non negotiable.

What are my parking options at the event?

There are several paid and a few free parking spaces within walking distance of the arena. Check out the Downtown OKC Website.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Please say it isn't so! We are counting on everyone to be there and no shows / cancellations reflect badly on everyone involved. Make sure you are 100% sure you will be available that day before you sign up! If there is an emergency and you definitely cannot be at the event, please inform us immediatly! We will need to inform the event promoter. If someone would like to take your place, either you or we need to unregister you, and then that someone needs to register separately.
