Stay at a luxurious jungle lodges and pristine beach side resorts, where you can hike, walk, bird watch and eat delicacies prepared by one of the finest chef’s in the country. Visit the famous Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich and watch a demonstration by a real life Shaman. Adventure enthusiast can appreciate the beautiful Caribbean waters with cave tubing, blue hole tour, snorkeling, diving, kayaking and more optional activities. Volunteer at Maya Mopan Community Project, a temporary shelter for battered women and children, and Octavia Waight Center, a home for the elderly. Experience live Garifuna dance performance and have a delicious BBQ dinner at a private home. This tour will take you on an intimate behind the scenes journey into the culture of Belize.
