Volunteer: Rock Creek Park Invasive Species Removal
Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (EDT)
Help Casey Trees and the National Park Service remove invasive plant species to make way for native tree plantings this fall!
We will meet in the parking lot of the Rock Creek Golf Course and walk to the site from there.
The S2, S4, 52, 53 and 54 Metrobus lines all stop near by. Parking will be available to volunteer in the golf course parking lot.
Casey Trees will supply drinking water and granola bars. You may want to bring your own reusable water bottle to fill at the registration table.
Are you a volunteer group manager? Do you want to register a large group of volunteers for one or more events (5 or more individuals)? Groups cannot sign up all of their registrants on this page, but we are happy to work with you to get volunteers registered at this event or other events this season. Register online now.
