Please read all of the information below carefully.
The 5th Annual Festival of Hope will take place on September 27, 2014. The event will again be held at the Tulare Outlet Center at 1407 Retherford St., Tulare, CA 93274.
Welcome to our volunteer registration page.
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our event. You make the difference between a WOW event and a horrible one. Thank you for your desire to help make our event even better than our first four years.
Our event officially runs from 10 am until 6 pm on Saturday. We have divided the volunteer time shifts into two, four-hour blocks of time: 10 am-2 pm and 2-6 pm. Please sign up according to the time that best works for you. Also, if you would like to stay after the event ends and help us pack up equipment, we would welcome the additional hands. That being said, the more time our volunteers can give, the better our event will be.
This year, volunteers will be held in a "pool" and assigned areas and tasks as the need arises. Volunteers may be called upon to serve their entire shift in a single area, or they might be dispatched for short-term objectives, then returned to the pool. The festival is divided into five zones this year: Zone 1) Children's Area - Clock Tower; Zone 2) Main Area - West Side; Zone 3) Main Area - North Side; Zone 4) Main Area - East Side; and Zone 5) Main Area - South Side.
Should it appear that it will rain the weekend of our event, the event will not be canceled. Instead, the entire event will be moved to the International Agricenter at 4500 S. Laspina St., Tulare, CA 93274. If it looks like it will rain, our goal is to notify registrants approximately 3 days before our event (by Sept. 25).
All volunteers will be required to sign a release of liability form for the Tulare Outlet Center.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt for their participation at this year's event.
