VOLUNTEER on August 10th at Texas Children's Hospital West Campus for the Heart Screening
Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (CDT)
We are seeking volunteers to help with check-in, greeting, escorting, and check-out duties for the next Championship Hearts Foundation Young Athlete Heart Screening event.
Volunteer shifts are available all morning (7:30 AM - 12:30 PM), early morning (7:30 AM - 10:00 AM), and late morning (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM).
Volunteers must sign in at the Volunteer Check-In to receive task assignment and instructions. Refreshments will be provided.

WHO WE ARE
Championship Hearts Foundation (CHF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 agency focused on the prevention of sudden cardiac death by screening young athletes for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and other cardiac abnormalities.
CHF wants to lead the nation in cost effective heart screenings for athletes through scientific research, community and professional education, and outreach and advocacy for making participation in sports safe.
To make Texas a model state for preventing death from cardiovascular disease.
CHF has over 14 years of experience conducting large-scale adolescent heart screenings. Recent collaborations with Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Texas School of Public Health, and an endorsement by the Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology are testament to CHF's expertise.
