Advocate! Tree Advocates Meeting with DC Water's Bethany Bezak
- Business & Professional
- Casey Trees, Washington DC
In the fifth and largest Sustainable DC Initiative planting this season, Casey Trees will be adding 68 trees to this expansive community park - adding to a large Casey Trees planting done last spring! This park, complete with an outdoor pool, skate and dog park is a treasured gathering place for several Ward 5 communities.
Registration will be located in the paved lot near the dog park. Look for the Casey Trees events signs on 20th Street NE and Mills Road NE to guide you. There is unrestricted street parking available on Mills Road NE. The B8, B9, and H6 Metrobus lines all stop nearby.
Volunteers are welcomed in the morning with a light breakfast. A celebratory lunch is provided at the conclusion of the event. Casey Trees will supply drinking water throughout the event.
Are you a volunteer group manager? Do you want to register a large group of volunteers for one or more events (5 or more individuals)? Groups cannot sign up all of their registrants on this page, but we are happy to work with you to get volunteers registered at this event or other events this season. Register online now.
