With the help of Groundwork Anacostia, on April 13th Casey Trees will be restoring a previously vacant lot in the Benning Ridge neighborhood of Ward 7. By planting 19 fruit and nut trees, Casey Trees will transform this lot into a community garden that will be accessible to the community and serve as a home to a future weekly farmers market.
Getting There The Metrobus stop is Benning Road and F Street (W3). The Benning Road Metrorail Station is a 0.6 mi. walk to the site. Street parking may be limited. Requirements
