Help Casey Trees and the National Park Service remove invasive plant species to make way for native tree plantings this fall and care for trees that Casey Trees planted as a part of our Community Tree Planting program!
The entrance to Fort Dupont Park can be found at the interesction of F Street and Minnesota Ave SE. Follow the Casey Trees Event signs down the road to the parking lot near the horse stable, where you will find registration.
The closest Metro station (Benning Road, Orange/Blue Line) is 1.3 miles away, so if you plan on taking the metro, leave yourself plenty of time to walk. The U2, V7, V8 and V9 Metrobus lines all stop close to the entrance of the park. If driving, you are welcome to park in the same lot as the registration tent.
Casey Trees will supply drinking water and granola bars. You may want to bring your own reusable water bottle to fill at the registration table.
Are you a volunteer group manager? Do you want to register a large group of volunteers for one or more events (5 or more individuals)? Groups cannot sign up all of their registrants on this page, but we are happy to work with you to get volunteers registered at this event or other events this season. Register online now.
