Brides for a Cause has joined forces with KDUK to host a special Dress Dash in the Eugene area on Saturday, October 8th from 7AM-10AM at the Shadow Hills Country Club to help raise funds for a varity of women-focused charities around the country!
We need a ton of volunteers to help at the event!
You will help brides shop among 500+ beautiful wedding dresses - all priced at just $150! We partner with a radio station, so this is unlike any other event. There will be tons of brides to assist in a short amount of time!
Here are some of the responsibilities you'll be assigned to:
- Help set up and tear down the event
- Greet Brides as they enter the event
- Help brides select gowns
- Help brides in the fitting room try on gowns
- Help put dresses back on the racks
- Check out area (bag gowns, etc)
- What to Wear?
Please wear a pink or black shirt! Jeans, slacks, skirts are all accepted. Wear comfortable shoes as you'll be on your feet!
- Multiple Shifts?
Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts and invite your friends, colleagues, family members!
- No experience necessary
You don't need to know anything about wedding dresses, though it's always helpful. We are looking for fun, passionate volunteers who want to help brides find their dream dresses! Everyone is welcome!
Please select your shift(s) above. Bring your friends and family members! Men are needed too to assist with set up/tear down and returning gowns to the racks during the event.
Funds raised from collecting and reselling wedding dresses will be dispersed among a variety of women-focused charities!

Founded originally as a for-profit business in 2012, Brides for a Cause recently become a nonprofit organization in 2016. Funds raised from collecting and reselling wedding dresses are dispersed among a variety of women-focuses charities. In just 4 years, we have collected over 5,000 wedding gowns and have donated over $400,000 to various charities.
