On Tuesday August 5th, First Graduate's 9th through 12th graders will participate in the 2014 Presentations of Learning (POLs). At this annual event, each student deliver a presenation about what they've learned over the past year including their accomplishements, challenges, and their goals for the year to come. POLs gives students a chance to reflect and work of their speech delivery techniques while presenting to to a group of peers, parents, and First Graduate supporters.
We invite you to join us as an evaluator at this year's POLs. Evaluators review students' performances and offer constructive feedback. Being an evalutor allows our supporters to see our students in action, and gives them great perspective on what it means to be a first graduate.
This year's event will be held at the Bay School of San Francisco. Evaluators must be able to stay for the entire event -- from 5:30 thorugh 8:00. Each evaluator will serve on a panel with 2-3 other evaluators and will evaluate the presentations of 4-6 students.
