Vitamin T & ADMCi present our "High Octane Digital Rendezvous" on 11/26/13! #HODR
Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM (CST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
What exactly is a “High Octane Digital Rendezvous”? It’s a fast paced, high octane chance for like minded designers, developers and UX professionals to micro-connect, share, learn, eat, and drink for free!
Who should attend?
Designers want to be more strategic. Stakeholders want strategy to be carried through in design. And yet somewhere in the product creation process, it's all too easy for teams to become reactive, losing the vision set forth in the kick-off.
In this HODR we'll talk about some of the reasons collaborative creation of principles can be difficult, and activities that can help you climb above the chaos for a clearer vision - together.
A little about Carolyn:
She was recently named one of Crain’s Chicago Business Tech 50, who has been working in the field of User Experience Design for the last 14 years. Currently she is an adjunct professor at DePaul University and UX Design instructor at The Starter League, where she first developed her activity-based approach for teaching core design concepts. Carolyn is the co-founder of ADMCi, a Chicago-based school focused on digital craftsmanship, and co-author of "A Project Guide to UX Design".
Carolyn has a new book coming out this December (win a chance for your very own signed copy): "Adventures in Experience Design" a playful, concise tour through the design process that incorporates activities and games to make learning accessible and fun.
When & Where
Vitamin T Chicago
Vitamin T was created to exclusively meet the unique needs of ad agencies, mid-sized companies and the digital creatives we all love.
We spend our time connecting the best digital creatives in the industry. Sounds like a pretty sweet job, huh? We think so. Even better for you, we’ve been doing this for over 25 years as part of Aquent, so our talent network is unparalleled. We’re proud to say that we personally meet our candidates, have proprietary hands-on assessments, and are great at digging down to what our talent can do – and what they want to do – so that we can make the perfect match for our clients.
In a nutshell, Vitamin T provides carefully screened freelance designers, developers and copywriters on a freelance and Talent Bridge basis. Sometimes we also provide cookies and milk, just when you need them. (Milk not available in all states and provinces.) Why two brands? We think two is better than one!
Co-sponser ADMCi is the new school for Digital Craftsmanship providing classes and workshops in user-centered design, content strategy and mobile design.
