Please remember to bring your ticket with you. You will need to show it at the door either printed out or on your mobile device.
Individuals and groups of 2-19 people: You will only need to bring one (1) ticket with you. If you're in a group, we will check in your whole group at one time, so please stick together! You will enter through main doors of the Winspear.
Groups of 20 or more will have a separate entrance: Please enter the Winspear through the box office door, Portal C, to the left of the main doors as you enter
Do I need to audition?
No, individuals and choirs will be registered on a first come first served basis. Everyone will be accepted until the venue is filled.
This event will be recorded - so please: All participants are expected to arrive at the March 16 event musically prepared with the chosen works, all composed by Eric Whitacre.
- Lux Arumuque (all participants are asked to memorize), which is available for purchase, or please bring your own personal copy. Additionally, a limited number of handouts will be available on site at the event.
- The second piece, Bliss from Paradise Lost, for Virtual Choir 4 will be made available at no cost via a link emailed to all registered participants with online download
Do I need to be registered for the ACDA Conference in order to participate?
Priority will be given to ACDA Conference participants, but everyone is welcome and will be accepted on a first come first served basis after that point.
I can't make it to Dallas. How can I be a part of Virtual Choir 4: Bliss?
Announcements for submissions to Virtual Choir 4: Bliss will be made in either February or March, so please stay tuned!
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Once registered, your pass is linked to you and only you and/or to your group if you register as a choir. Valid ID will be requested at check in.
I registered, but I can no longer participate. What do I do?
If for any reason you are no longer able to participate in the event, please contact DCINY with as much advance notice as possible at: SingwithEric@DCINY.org to let us know.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
All participants are required to bring either their printed pass or to show their pass on their phone/PDA/I-Phone. A copy of your pass showing will be emailed to you upon completion of your registration and again 1 week prior to the event. Noone will be allowed entrance unless they have a confirmed registration. Those registering as a group will receive one ticket for their group with only that number of people allowed in.
