VIP Food Blogger & Media Event: The Twin Cities Go Bananas (After Dark) Banana Dinner at Caribe
Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 6:00 PM (CDT)
What do you get when you pair the world’s largest producer of fresh fruit
with the smallest Caribbean restaurant in St. Paul?
A dinner event you won't want to miss...
DOLE’s “Go Bananas After Dark” tour arrives in Minnesota
to christen the Twin Cities a “Top Banana Market”
and show food bloggers and the banana-loving public
that bananas aren’t just for breakfast and lunch anymore.
Demonstrating a unique connection to bananas,
Chef Tony Panelli of Caribe Caribbean Bistro
was chosen by DOLE Bananas to cook up his creations for a select group
of food bloggers and Twin Cities' media.

Shaina is the home cook and photographer behind Food for My Family and Olmanson Photography. She and her husband Ole strive to teach their four children to cook and prepare real food in a day and age where many people have turned to convenience foods because they are so readily available and hope to encourage others to do the same. Shaina wholeheartedly believes that food is what connects people. It is a part of our culture and our everyday life, and it can bring us together around the dinner table.
