November 9th, 2012, the Vienna Boys’ Choir, presented by KRMS Radio 97.5FM/1150AM, Vernon Publishing, Central Bank and the Lake Arts Council, will be performing at First Baptist Church in Eldon. As part of their 30th Anniversary, the Lake Arts Council continues their year-long celebration with the return of the world famous young artists.
More than half a millennium ago, the Vienna Boys’ Choir was founded in 1498. Until 1918, performances of the choir were limited to private concerts, state occasions, mass and for the court. Today, the Vienna Boys’ Choir, divided into four touring groups, give approximately 300 concerts worldwide each year. Eldon is one of those 300 towns fortunate to host the choir in 2012.
Tickets will go on sale September 28th at all lake-area Pauls Grocery Stores, Central Banks, First National Banks, and Wilson’s Music in Eldon and online with Eventbrite. Please be advised that the Lake Arts Council expects this event to sell out early as there is limited seating available.
