Join us on April 3rd for a panel discussion with Michelle Kwan, five-time world figure skating champion, two-time Olympic medalist, and Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State and 24 female athletes from every region of the world who are participants in a U.S. Department of State sports visitors exchange program!
Hear the stories of basketball players and coaches as they speak to women’s empowerment and sport systems in Argentina, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Nigeria, South Korea, and Turkey.
The discussion will also include remarks from the following esteemed guests:

Housed in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, The Center for Sport, Peace, & Society is a unique and groundbreaking collaboration between the University of Tennessee and the nonprofit organization Sport 4 Peace.
