Grab your crew, scrounge up a tent, strap on your “get-dirty” shoes and get ready for a weekend of outdoor adventure!
Similar to the last event in May, we will have a variety of activities for you to choose from. The difference is, they will all be in one place, so you don't have to pick just one!
On Saturday, September 13th meet us at Trap Pond State Park for a day of outdoor recreation. We’ll provide you with plenty of fun outdoor activities, give you some grub, and offer campsites for one or two nights, your choice. In the evening grab some dinner, listen to some music, try out a beer sample and keep toasty by a campfire.
Activities available include stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, pontoon boat tours, an inflatable obstacle course, hiking, boat rentals, fishing, a primitive brewing demonstration, birding, and more. A limited number of bikes will be available as well, please bring your own if you can! We are doing our best to have archery also offered at this event.
In addition, games such as disc golf (with tips and tricks provided by Delaware Disc Golf!), volleyball, ladder ball, horseshoes, and corn hole are available. Delmarva Star Gazers will also be coming out to give a presentation and help us spot some cool constellations.
During dinner provided by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Texas Roadhouse, enjoy a Dogfish Head craft brew, along with some wine from Fenwick Wine Cellars, and music from Clifford Keith (facebook/website) and Jeremy Lum (facebook/website)!
Before you head out in the morning be sure to stop by and grab some free breakfast!
We will also be offering campsites at a discounted rate! If you camp for one night, the other night is completely free. When you register, select that you would like to camp both nights and we will contact you with information on how to reserve your campsites. Please do not reserve your campsites before we contact you - if you do, you will not receive the discount. Remember, camping is not required for this year's Venture Outdoors Fest.
The last day to register is August 29, 2014 by 4:00pm.
Please bring a printed copy of your ticket and payment verification with you.
