This event provides attendees with an exclusive one-on-one meeting with Venture Capitalist, Steve Johns. This is a unique opportunity to ask anything you wanted to know about venture capital but forgot to ask.

Steve has over 25 years of experience in technology, corporate development, venture capital, entertainment and entrepreneurship. Steve started his career in Chicago with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and was Vice President of Global Business Development for computer-maker Gateway during the tech boom of ’95-’99. He co-founded $100 million investment company Ardesta with two partners (including the current governor of Michigan) and started and invested in 19 companies with Ardesta. Steve has funded and founded two music-related start-ups; was personal manager for Chicago band Company of Thieves and now runs the largest entertainment rigging company in the Midwest serving touring artists, tradeshows, and special events - including the Dave Matthews Band, the NATO Summit and the largest tradeshows in the country.
The $5 ticket fee will be refunded to members of the IIT community who attend the event.
