We all love the luscious fruits of summer, harvested by regional growers and delivered to the markets and kitchens of New York City. Now is the perfect time of year to whip up sweet treats that celebrate berries, stone fruits, and fresh, fragrant herbs! Let Angelica Kitchen’s Chris Hawkins teach you how to make simple desserts that emphasize honest cooking and let wholesome ingredients truly shine. These sweet results are naturally delectable, beautiful to look at, and a joy to prepare. Ingredients used will be organic whenever possible.
On the Menu: Chilled Nectarine and Lemon Verbena Infusion; Peach-Vanilla Muffins; Berry Tart; Almond Crust with Almond Custard; Coconut Praline.
Instructor: Christine Hawkins, Pastry Chef, Angelica Kitchen
