UX Night: Planning for Responsive Layouts
Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Responsive design is no longer just a cool feature to add to your design – it's mandatory. Through the use of media queries we are able to build a single responsive site and customize the content, font-sizes and layout to fit within any device.
How do we plan for a responsive site? How do we choreograph content so that it is fluid and resizes appropriately to each browser window?
Pauly Ting, head of UX at Tigerspike (a mobile design agency), will teach us how to organize content with fluid grids, work with flexible image sizes and strategize layouts for desktop, ipad and mobile.
