The Business Model Canvas is a practical method for any entrepreneur to systematically understand, design and differentiate their business model. In this 90-minute session, you will learn powerful and practical innovation techniques used today by leading companies worldwide to systematically understand, design and implement a new business model – or analyze and renovate an old one. The Business Model Canvas has turned the entrepreneurial community on its head with proven techniques that dramatically increase startup success rates.
This event is designed for doers. Business Model Generation is for those ready to abandon outmoded thinking and embrace new, innovative models of value creation: executives, consultants, entrepreneurs – and leaders of all organizations.
The workshop intensive will be taught by Wade Steenhoek, Director of the Martin Heerema Entrepreneurship Program at Central College in Pella. Wade has quietly become an authority on the startup methodologies pioneered by entrepreneurial legends Steve Blank and Alexander Osterwalder and has used them effectively to grow his own startups involving services, physical products and technology solutions. He’s also found these principles extend to work in the non-profit and government sectors.
