USC E2: Evolution of Entertainment Conference
Friday, February 22, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (PST)
Los Angeles, CA
E2: Evolution of Entertainment Conference 2013: Disruptors in Media and Entertainment
The theme for the 2013 conference is "Disruptors." Our goal is to design a series of speakers and panels to highlight the juxtaposition between traditional media perspectives and emerging media trends in order to focus on the ways in which we can integrate these "old" and "new" ideas in order to evolve. As new technologies emerge, it fundamentally affects every sector of entertainment from how creators produce content, advertisers pay for it, viewers interact with it and how success is measured.
We would like to hear from those affecting the change about how they think the media and entertainment industries will be affected: how the consumer experience will change, what new bases of competition might arise, the introduction of new revenue streams and the overall effects on business models of these industries.
