U.S. Immigration for Startups and Entrepreneurs

This course is intended to provide attendees with basic information about the U.S. immigration and visa process as they relate to start-ups, businesses and entrepreneurs. We will review the visa types, and discuss strategies and related considerations. This class is for you if:
- You are a Founder or want to work at a start-up
- You are a student and want to remain in the US after graduation/OPT
- You want to bring your foreign business to the U.S.
- You are a U.S. employer and want to hire foreign talent

About Sharon Brenner
Sharon Brenner is a San Francisco-based immigration attorney and has worked in various sectors of immigration law since 2004. Sharon's business-related clientele includes individuals, startups, and established businesses, and she has spoken at coworking and incubator spaces about U.S. immigration options for startups and entrepreneurs. She is also well-versed in visa matters for artists and creatives, and her work additionally includes family-based immigration, asylum, and naturalization. Sharon is a member of the California Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She received her JD degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, and holds B.A. degrees in African History and International Relations from U.C. Davis.
