Welcome to the first ever Urban Deer Retreat!

You're invited to join a small group of fierce and fabulous women with a shared interest in enjoying the great outdoors. It doesn't matter if you're an outdoor expert or novice, this retreat is about so much more than gaining outdoor skills. It's about building up your confidence, connecting with interesting women, getting away and relaxing in Urban Deer style.

Picture this:

• Day 1
• Welcome to your luxury redwood retreat. Settle in, meet new friends, enjoy the air, the view and some very special vino
• For dinner, you'll be treated to a campfire feast. Relax by the fire, quaff a little more of that vino, soak in the stars

• Day 2
• We'll be joined by an accomplished and bad-ass photographer who will teach us her tricks for capturing great landscape and nature photos
• Next we're off on a pleasant hike nearby where we'll put our newfound photography skills to work
• Back at the lodge it's all about food and relaxation. Tonight we're cooking together with the guidance of a gourmet chef
• After dinner, relax in the hot tub, climb into the hammock, warm up by the fire

• Day 3
• We're off to the wilderness to learn a few really key outdoor skills to help you be more independent and confident the next time you're outdoor adventuring
• For lunch, we'll go all out with a wine-soaked picnic on the hill. We'll tour a winery or two before coming back to the lodge in the afternoon
• And we're home again. We'll share some campfire stories and indulge in classic camp fare before heading off to bed

• Day 4, last day
• You've probably got to get back home. This escape can't last forever. But take your time, we're here til 2pm and we might want to do more wine tasting!

Sound like roughing it? Hardly. BUT, by the end of the weekend I promise you'll have all you need to fall in love with the outdoors stylishly, comfortably, and confidently!

FAQs

Will I have my own bedroom?

Absolutely, if you snag one the four "private sanctuary" spots. There are four private bedrooms between the main house (1), guest house (2), and cabin (1). Otherwise, you're one of the more adventurous ones who scored a luxury indoor tent in a separate room.

How many bathrooms?

The compound has 4 total bathrooms, so we'll have to sharesies.

What about transportation?

Once you're at the house, we've got you covered on transporation.

I'm flying in from out of town. Do I need a car?

If you give us a heads up, we can pick you up from the airport. If not, feel free to rent your own car.

What should I pack?

Pack comfortable clothes, workout clothes, a light jacket, sunglasses, SPF, a hat, and hiking boots, shoes or running shoes. Bring your yoga mat if you want to do yoga while you're here. Oh, and a bathing suit if you want to enjoy the hot tub. Everything else will be here!
