Learning Goal/Purpose:  Provide nurses information about managing the multi-generational workforce.

2. Name strategies to address the challenges that exist with the multi-generational workforce.

3. List ways to integrate the different generational viewpoints into the work setting.

Noon - 1 p.m.: Returning to School: A Consumer Reports for Nursing Education

Learning Goal/Purpose:  Provide nurses with the information on how to make an informed choice when returning to school to earn an advanced degree.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the Future of Nursing recommendations for a better educated nursing workforce.
2. Identify academic programs according to six program characteristics.



2 - 3 p.m.: The Most Trusted Profession's Achilles' Heel: Integrity and Ethics
Learning Goal/Purpose:  To inform nurses about the threats to integrity and ethics that exist in the profession of nursing.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the Code of Ethics in nursing practice and the importance of professional accountability.
2. Identify the most effective strategies to manage the factors contributing to unethical behavior in the professional practice.


DIGITAL CERTIFICATION:
Continuing education certificates will no longer be issued in paper form.
Online instructions and evaluation password will be given during the class.
Attendees must register complete a (free) registration form at Nurse.Com
to access continuing education evaluations. A digital certificate will be
issued after completion of the evaluation of each course.

Our Career Fairs are designed to introduce experienced, licensed RNs to regional and national recruiters. The majority of our exhibitors will be attending solely to meet nurses who are currently licensed, have some experience in a nursing setting, and are available to work immediately. If you are not readily available for employment, be prepared that many exhibitors may not accept your resume at this event. 

You may still find this event to be beneficial with educational and networking opportunities. Each career fair offers a complete schedule of continuing education classes, and some events offer entertaining or valuable activities such as chair massage, resume review and door prize drawings.

Please be aware that the first portion of the exhibit hall hours are restricted to currently licensed RNs who have at least one year or more of experience. Students, new grads and licensed allied health care professionals (other than RNs) may not enter the exhibit hall until noon. Seating at our 9:00 am continuing education class may be available, depending on attendance numbers.
