Brad managed development of Petal and Net Zero Energy Certified , the first multifamily zero net energy community in the United States, as well as Issaquah Fire Station 72, the world’s most energy efficient fire station and recipient of the international 2012 ASHRAE Technology award. He brings a pragmatic, results oriented focus to catalyzing deep change throughout the built environment, with a particular passion for zero carbon footprint buildings and communities. Since the late 80s, he has been a change agent in the fields of urban design, environmental policy, planning, and sustainable building. He is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University (history) and holds a Master’s in environmental policy from the University of Washington Evans School.
