It’s easy to connect what we eat to our waistlines but have you ever paused and thought about how food affects your mood? Often we don't realize the emotional roller coaster ride our wildly fluctuating blood sugar levels can cause. We feel happy and energetic for a while and then suddenly inexplicably, we find ourselves feeling low, short-tempered, or unenthused with life . When it comes to the food-mood connection, blood-sugar fluctuations are only the beginning. The truth is that the mind and body exist on an exquisite continuum, andprofoundly impact one another.
