Overwhelmed by all of the pet food choices popping up in stores? Confused about pet food labels and the terms “grain free,” “natural,” and “organic?” Not sure what your pet really needs to stay healthy? This workshop will provide you with the answers! Participants will learn the basic principles of pet nutrition, what constitutes a high quality pet food and how to interpret the often confusing labels on pet foods to determine what you are actually feeding your pet. Feeding methods and body condition scoring/life stages will also be covered.
