Joy Liu, Senior User Experience Designer, philosophie
Lunch will be included
Learn best practices in mobile UX. This workshop will explore the architecture and design of mobile systems as well as essential tools.Mobile UX has risen to a level of importance on par with the desktop. Unlike desktop experiences, mobile UX can also be finicky, it demands high performance and is more room for error. Good touch interaction patterns are still emerging and only recently being adopted by users. Meanwhile back-end and front-end development is equally in flux. To understand the complexities of these systems, content and service providers require UX designers to document the creation process in way that is readable and useful. Regardless of who these duties belong to, at the end of the day the same methods and practices must be employed.
