Join OC Parks and the Laguna Canyon Foundation on Saturday, July 27th from 1:00pm-4:00pm as we enjoy "Under the Sycamores" at Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. Local snake researcher Steve Bledsoe of the Southwest Field Herping Associates will introduce live Rattlesnakes, Gopher Snakes, Rosy Boas, and California Kingsnakes.
1:00-2:00pm: Enjoy fun crafts based on your favorite snake from Southern California.
2:00pm: Steve's 45 minute presentation will begin at 2:00 and you will learn to identify rattlesnakes and find out what to do in case you encounter one on the trails. Steve will be available afterwords to answer your favorite questions about snakes. This amazing event will be fun for the entire family.
