Have you ever asked students to reflect on their learning and been disappointed in the results? The goal of this workshop is to look at how specific storytelling practices can help students develop a habit of mind that promotes authentic reflection on their learning. In this workshop, we will model a process of sharing one’s own stories and listening to other’s stories with the goal of uncovering students’ tacit knowledge, assumptions, and values.
