UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health Annual Charity Gala

The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health, the Student Global Health Committee and the SPH Student Government invite you to come out to our 2013 Annual Charity Gala! This event will benefit Curamericas Global, a Raleigh-based organization with ties to UNC-CH! Proceeds from this event will be donated to Curamericas which provides access to community health through partnernships in Guatemala, Liberia, and Haiti.
Curamericas' vision is Hope through Health: A world free of suffering from treatable and preventable causes. Their mission is to partner with underserved communities to make measurable and sustainable improvements in their health and well-being. We are proud to feature Henry Perry, MD, PhD, MPH, co-founder of Curamericas, current Senior Associate at Johns Hopkins University as our guest speaking for the evening.
This evening will feature hors d'oeurves, a silent auction, DJ, and dancing.

Valet parking is available for free across the street from Top of the Hill by the Starbucks. Additional parking is available on Rosemary in 2 parking garages and one uncovered lot. To reach these parking lots, head north on Columbia Street and turn right onto Rosemary. The uncovered lot will be on your right and the parking garages will be on your left.

Student Global Health Committee and the SPH Student Government
The Student Global Health Committee is a student-run Global Health organization in the Gillings School of Global Public Health with a focus on createing awareness and understanding of global health issues among the UNC community through education, advocacy, and service.
The School of Public Health's Student Government (SPH-SG) disseminates information, supports student-initiated projects, and represents the concerns of public health students to the faculty, staff and university community. Membership is comprised of all students registered within all departments of the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. SPH-SG is actively involved in community projects and its members serve on a variety of advisory boards and committees at the School and University.
