The United Nations Association (UNA-USA) of Westchester is pleased to invite you to participate in a discussion on integrating youth issues into the United Nations goals for the next decade. Our dialogue with youth will be held on the occasion of United Nations Day, to be celebrated on October 26th at the YWCA, 515 North Street in White Plains. We are inviting young professionals and high school and college students, mainly from Westchester County to provide their inputs into the global discussion on the “Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals” (The World We Want, http://www.worldwewant2015.org). The discussion groups will be led by young persons familiar with the post-2015 dialogue, and your ideas will be fed into the United States civil society contribution to the process at the UN. Each group leader will present a summary of the results of the group discussion to the plenary session at the end. Following the program, you are invited to a reception with the UNA community.
UNA members and guests are invited to participate in the “report back” by the discussion leaders, followed by a reception and networking event with the UNA community.
We are looking forward to welcome your on our youth workshop discussion tabels or as a general admission for the plenary session and the reception.
